Until recently generalists were not celebrated or sought filmmakers (or coders or marketers, etc for that matter). But a new appreciation for singular vision, simplicity and efficiency has made Swiss army knives excellent solutions for media production.

I am quick to recognize when an expert specialist is needed in various facets of storytelling and content creation. But the flexibility of 1-person crew production has many great advantages for clients.

Further, although my style is generally “photo-real”, I don’t feel shackled by a few modes of thinking. I can easily explore many stylistic approaches at one time.
